July 2020.
In my first dream, I’m on the roof of a building serving ice cream, absolutely convinced that this is my calling. Two nights later, the four letters REŸS appear before me, and a voice says, “That’s the name of the ice cream.”
REŸS, That name didn’t exist. It was waiting for me.
August 2020. I travel to Tuscany to meet my gelato master. I learn the art of Natural Gelato.
June 2021, REŸS launches on the rooftop of the Montparnasse Tower. 59th floor, the highest rooftop in Paris. First dream.
June 2022, REŸS opens its first shop in the Marais.
Not a launch. A birth.
Since then, we haven’t been trying to make ice cream. We’ve been capturing something invisible: the intensity of a fruit, the depth of a spice, the memory of a journey. Each creation is born from an intention. None resembles anything that came before.
Today, the House boasts more than seventy original creations. Eight of them have become Signature. Flavors that belong to no season, to no trend. Timeless flavors that are unforgettable.
REŸS has locations in the Marais, at La Grande Épicerie Sèvres and Passy, at the Palace of Versailles, in Toulouse, and in Lisbon. A member of the Collège Culinaire de France. Its chef, like a perfumer, is consulted by major perfume houses. Not as a craftsman to be supervised, but as an inspiring creator.
We have never sought to please everyone. Only those who know that ice cream can be a complete experience: sensory, emotional, spiritual. When they enter our shop for the first time, they often feel as though they’ve been there before.
REŸS doesn’t exist in any language, but resonates in all of them.
King. Journey. Road. Beginning. Elevation. Light.
Everywhere, something is remembered. Like a memory we all share.
